We ARE Council Registered to Supply and Cart Potable Water
We hold a Toowoomba Regional Council Food Licence and our water is approved and monitored by the local council. Therefore we only allow our own processed water to enter our delivery tanks.
The Facts
The Food Act 2006 covers the cartage of drinking water for human consumption and all water cartage operators are required to hold a food licence issued by their Council. Under our Toowoomba Council – Environmental Health Services.
The licence allows operation as a mobile food vehicle and water carriers must comply with the Australian Food Standards Code to ensure that drinking water is safe and suitable for human consumption. Also licence holders are required to clean and sanitise the water tanker and all fittings on a regular basis. We are also audited regularly by the TRC as we treat our water to the highest quality and is tested on a weekly basis by our highly trained staff and are also tested by Mt Kynoch treatment plant for TRC standards.
